| Customer Reviews: Great cord...buy it! August 19, 2010 Bradley Satz (NJ) Cord works great. Not sure what else you can really say about a cord. Looks good too. There I found something else to say.
Good bargain alternative, but doesn't stand up to the real thing. December 19, 2009 B. Capulong 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased this extension cord to replace the 3ft extension for my Shure SE530s. I accidentally stepped on the cord while moving and it tugged the male end of the 3.5mm jack pretty badly -- the cord still works but it's shorted and the right channel dies out sometimes. Some wiggling could fix it, so I was impressed that it still worked after that abuse.
When I received the Sound-Squared cable, I immediately noticed it is MUCH thinner and flimsier looking compared to the beefy Shure extension cord. To make matters worse, when I plugged my headphones in, there was no sound in the right channel -- the same thing that my BROKEN Shures do, this cord did right out of the box! I had to squeeze/wiggle the female end of the extension cord a bit for it to work cleanly, but even then I can foresee some inconvenient/annoying moments where the right channel would cut out.
Bottom line: you get what you pay for. It does what it's supposed to do, but not perfectly, and most likely not for very long, either. If you can, save up a little more and shell out the few extra bucks to get the Shure branded cord.

Great extension cable if not a little thin April 1, 2009 sTwIL (Houston, TX) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The cable is great it works just as I would expect it to but it is on the thin side so it occasionally tangles but aside from that it is great.
Great Quality February 9, 2008 L. Quintero 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Works great, i use it with my Sony Ericsson Handsfree HPM-70 in any mp3 player, they are a little larger than the Apple Headphones but is ok and the build quality is great...
