great headphone for active lifestyles March 10, 2010 Oahu19 I have been using these for about two weeks now, and I gotta say I love them. The sound quality is excellent, the fit is near perfect. I have used these for running both indoors and out and these things do not shake loose from your ear. The clip is a great addon... not to mention the strength of the cable is above expectations for something so thin. i have snagged them quite a few times on gym equipment and it doesnt phase them. They are extremely sweat resistant and the longer cord length allows you to route this thing however you see fit. Excellent product for any exerciser!!
Very good buds for active sports training March 10, 2010 B. Dolan (Pensacola, FL) Excellent ergonomic design and superior materials make these headphones the best I have ever used for athletic training. The angled stem makes for a much better initial and sustained fit. The material of almost everything, to include the inserts and connectors, is of superior, rugged design and is made of high-quality materials. They obviously put some research into the design and took much athlete feedback.
The excellent fit (not only assured by excellent design and materials, but also by the inclusion of multiple sizes of replaceable ear bud membranes/caps) greatly contributes to a vastly increased sound quality vs that of most earbuds due to excellent noise isolation, bass delivery, and wind/sweat neutralization. This hold especially true when the buds are put to the task, which is where most buds, especially those not designed for physical activity, fail to deliver.
I have been running with an MP3 player from the days of the Diamond Rio (google it, you younger folk) and, for better or worse, have become completely dependent on one. If you are like me, you know that a solid audio accompaniment greatly improves performance and makes workouts that much more enjoyable and happily anticipated. Good earbuds provide this experience while being able to "melt away" without being noticeable or a hassle, allowing the music to do its job to the utmost effect and with maximum enjoyability. These earbuds accomplish this with flying colors and their quality construction means they'll be doing it for more than a while. Money well spent for you active types.
Comes with a clip, too! I love these guys!
(My sound scale was based on that of audiophile quality, for what it's worth)
Bad Design March 5, 2010 Edward Mckenna I have had these headphones for a week now and am not thrilled. The sound quality is nothing special but not bad. There are two big problems though. The angle the wire comes out of the earbud makes no sense because there is no way to put it properly in your ear that it doesn't look like it is sticking out away from your head at least a little bit. More importantly the wires/coatings and the way they are connected to the buds results in you hearing every movement along the cable more than you hear the music. I had a pair of Sony ear canal beds with the over the ear supports that sounded just as good, transmitted a fraction of the sound through the cable, fit/stayed in the ears much better, and were half the cost. They did however stop working a year later but that is not so bad
Great Product March 3, 2010 Cristen C. Cicchi (Houston, TX) Works great. I have to adjust once and awhile when I'm runnig because the sweat will wiggle them loose. Otherwise I'm very happy with the product.
Not good as cx300 March 1, 2010 E (Philadelphia, PA) The original one the seller sent to me has some problem, and my ear even feel hurt. But the seller is good, they responsed very quickly and promised to change it for me. But I just dont believe the quality of this product and get a new earphone to use. Just threw my money.
I used cx300 before, very good, pitty I lost it somewhere.
